We got this fridge in 2011 and have not had any problems. I was actually surprised at the number of reviews with problems. The only time I thought something was wrong with the ice maker I had accidentally turned the Ice maker off. And when it ran out it was just empty. But I figured it out before actually calling anyone. And as for the ice spitting out when you fill your cup, it does do this if you have your cup too low from the top but all I did was put the cup closer to the top, problem solved. We haven't had any frost problems so far. But we also don't keep it on its highest level. I think it's about two notches from the top level. All in all we have loved this fridge. It's unfortunate so many have had issues when it's been great for us.
